About Me

Hello everyone.

I 'm Christi Coplin, but my kids call me Ms. C. I will be beginning my 19th year as a teacher in the fall of 2016. This will be my fourth year as a high school teacher. It will more than likely be my most tearful year as well since the Class of 2017 will be graduating. My first year at CHS was the class of 2017's first year also, hence the tears. I love teaching. I have a passion for educating young adults. I believe that if you want the student to perform to the best of his or her ability then I as the teacher should bring my very best I have everyday. I am a firm believer that everyone can learn something new everyday. I am continuously looking for new resources to read or new lessons I can teach my kids that occupy my room. I have my Bachelors in Vocational Home Economics for Texas Woman's University in Denton, Texas. In 2007 I received my Masters of Science in Computer Education and Cognitive Systems from The University of North Texas also located in Denton. I also take continuing education classes from The University of Texas at Arlington.

I look forward to getting to know each and everyone of you. Remember that Ms. C., knows you are awesome. I know you are brilliant. I also know how talented you are so don't be shy, but be warned  Ms. C. loves and respects each of you as if you were my own children.  That being said you are the best of the best and I expect nothing less. Because I'm on time, on task, and on a mission to get you ready for the workforce. You will be on time everyday on task everyday and on a mission to create the best of the best in what you are working on no matter if it is animation, video game design, mobile app development, advanced video game design or principles of information technology.

As the great Muhammad Ali said " Don't count the days, But make the days count."

I can't wait to meet you!

Be safe and make smart decisions,

Ms. C.
